As a passionate mental health professional, I work primarily with children who are facing various mental health challenges. My ideal clients are children who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, or trauma, and who could benefit from a safe
and supportive space to express themselves and build coping skills.
I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Master’s degree in Social Work, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide effective support to children and families. Growing up, I was inspired by my father, a preschool social worker, who became my role model. His dedication to helping children overcome challenges shaped my desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people. I have always believed that every child deserves the opportunity to heal and thrive, and this belief is the foundation of my work.
I have a passion for helping others, and a commitment to making a real difference in children’s lives. It can be difficult for young children to navigate their emotions, and I offer a nurturing approach that helps them feel heard, valued, and supported. To help my young clients, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to address specific behavioral or emotional struggles by providing children with tools they can use in their daily lives. While also integrating mindfulness strategies to build rapport and foster a sense of calm, self-awareness, and emotional regulation.
My ultimate goal is to create lasting positive change in the lives of children and their families by helping them build resilience and emotional strength for the future.
