Hi, I’m Sarah, a mental health counselor passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. Before becoming a therapist, I spent four years working in higher education. During that time, I saw just how many young people were struggling with their mental health, often without the support they needed. That experience led me to this work, and today, I’m dedicated to walking alongside clients starting as young as age five through adulthood.
In my practice, I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, identity development, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting student-athletes and those in crisis. I’m trained in EMDR and draw from an acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) framework, integrating evidence-based approaches with a holistic, client-centered lens.
My counseling style is grounded in authenticity, empathy, and trust. I bring warmth, honesty, and even a little humor into the therapy space to help clients feel safe, understood, and accepted—especially those who are new to therapy. I also prioritize cultural and contextual
awareness, always striving to create an inclusive environment where clients feel empowered to show up just as they are.
I’m especially passionate about destigmatizing mental health and increasing access to meaningful support. Whether you’re navigating a major life change or just starting to explore therapy, I’m here to help you feel more connected, capable, and cared for.
